Health Care Reform

Health care

Drell

I am not a politician so I do not have to run for office, but I know what everyone is thinking about in a small corner in their minds “self”. Self preservation has taken the lead for seniors and the Lobbyists have exploited that emotion which can not be silenced by just reassurance alone but by action. This is the self state of mind, so let’s do some of the things that are needed and pass Health Care reform!

Now think about if government did not have Medicaid or Medicare where would you be? A person who is sick would be hard pressed in a spot like that. As responsible people we have to think of our needs as a country. Not only for today which we all see and experience but what will our needs truthfully will be in the future next year or five, even tens years out. This is the contexts in which young people respond in our time right now in America.

I want health care reform because I pay my fair share in taxes. And I want my grandmother to continue to get health care. To reach young people on this subject will not be easy but it can be done. It will be the sound bits that will win the day. Ask this question to the younger voters, call your current provider and ask what their policy is for precondition sickness is and is there a cost difference.

Thirty years or more and no one can pass reform for health care; someone needs to just say it. If Medicare is going to be broke in ten years, then if seniors are scared now, what are they going to do when it’s broke? Demand for it to get fixed over night, that’s what they are going to want. But it is too late you are going to have to wait so you may not get the care you need until the problem is solved. Believe me the lobbyist and the insurance providers will have great say in what you are able to get when it is all said and done.
